AT&T U-verse S10-S2 Remote Setup

These instructions will set up your AT&T U-verse S10-S2 remote to control the volume of your ZVOX instead of your TV, and they work with any TV brand. Since this setup relies on the ZVOX remote learning mode, it will work with virtually any ZVOX model that has learning mode. To check if your model is covered, see the list of learning instructions in Part 2 below. Setup takes two parts: programming the AT&T remote, then teaching your ZVOX the AT&T remote’s commands.


Part 1: Program the AT&T Remote


Assign a Code to the AUX Button

  1. Press AUX once on the AT&T remote.
  2. Press and hold AUX, then press and hold OK, then release both buttons at the same time. All the mode keys should flash twice.
  3. Enter 6-0-1-0. The AUX key will light up for 2 seconds.

Lock the Volume Buttons to the ZVOX

  1. Press and hold the AT&T key, then press and hold OK, then release both buttons at the same time. All the mode keys should flash twice.
  2. Enter 9-5-5. The AT&T key will flash twice.
  3. Press AUX. The AUX key will light up for 2 seconds.


Part 2: Teach Your ZVOX the AT&T Remote Commands


Next, put your ZVOX into learning mode and teach it the volume up, volume down, mute, and power buttons from the AT&T remote. Click the link below that matches your ZVOX model for step-by-step learning instructions.

Note: When the learning instructions ask for the power button, press AUX on the AT&T remote first so it sends the AUX power command. Press the AT&T key afterward to go back to controlling your U-verse box.

Once learning is complete, the AT&T remote will control your ZVOX’s volume no matter which mode (AT&T, TV, or DVD) the remote is in.
